For a project for Haier, 2 members of our design team visited Qingdao, China.
They conducted interviews with modern Chinese mothers. The goal was to gain an understanding of the positives and negatives associated with the product category and the cultural preferences.
All mothers were asked to undertake an assignment and collect pictures that demonstrated the daily use of the product, before the in-depth interview was conducted. During the interview, these images were used as a tool to explain their stories and how they interacted with the product.
It was an inspirational and insightful visit. The results will be used during the Analysis phase of the project.
And we want to thank all the mothers for their cooperation! Xièxiè!
