Challenge
As a high-tech startup Staal Instruments was looking for a mechanical Design Agency to support them with the development of an industrial, durable and smart enclosure for their Cloud-Based Level Radar sensors.
Approach
Because of the limited time and budget for this project, we focused on our Lean and collaborative approach with fast iterations and daily feedback loops.
Result
Within 3 months SLIMDESIGN delivered CNC Machined IP68 Housings to validate the design and release the injection molding tools. With SLIMDESIGN as their industrial design and mechanical engineering partner, Staal Instruments decreased the development lead time. This enabled them to focus on all their other technological and commercial challenges of developing and selling high-tech products internationally.
In a 3 months design sprint by SLIMDESIGN, Staal Instruments had a final design and working protoype.
