Innovation Strategy
South Korean stationery products manufacturer Monami commissioned us to conduct innovation strategy research on their ballpoint pens.
Challenge
With a focus on the European market, we were tasked with finding ways to improve the ballpoint pen and discover future innovation opportunities.
Approach
We sketched, wrote, and fiddled with a variety of existing pens. We elaborately studied use cases and extracted common issues people have related to pens. After extensive brainstorming we discovered new practical, aesthetic and playful features.

Unfortunately the results of the project are confidential. We look forward to sharing more of the project soon.
