Strategy and Product Design
Haier is one of the top-selling appliances and white good companies and one of the biggest in China. We helped them with the strategy and design for a new type of product aimed at the Chinees market.
Challenge
For this project, we did extensive user research in China. Through this research, we explored the use-cases, pains and gains, and possible opportunities. The unique insights were the bases of the product design.
Approach
Our Chinese interpreter arranged all the participants and we were privileged to be invited into their homes. The interview and feedback on our ideas gave very valuable input.
Result
We delivered visualizations and 1:1 cosmetic prototypes. The 3D files we used by Haier’s engineering department to materialize the concepts.
