4G Security Camera
Nubo, the water-resistant security camera we developed for Panasonic, can work independently from Wi-Fi allowing it to be positioned anywhere, including outdoors. It features a wide-angle view, IR night vision, and HD video quality. When the camera senses movement or sound it can send a notification to your phone.
Challenge
Panasonic wanted to be the first with a 4G Security Camera on the market. Panasonic was having trouble meeting this deadline and asked us to help them. We were able to bring the idea to functional & cosmetic prototypes in 4 months, ready for the launch at the Mobile World Congress technology fair.
Approach
With a small core team of experts and an integrated approach, we are able to develop fast. With a new product segment, it is always hard to decide which user and use case to focus on. Using our specification loop we were able to distinguish a clear list of features and intended usecases.
Result
With our help Panasonic was the first to launch a 4G security camera. They were very pleased with the final design. The product launch was a big success, and SLIMDESIGN was asked to develop the camera further and to support the production.
