Challenge
Sonion is the category leader in in-ear hearing aids. We support their development with industrial design and engineering. The challenging factors with these kinds of products are: very small size, large production quantities, and harsh environments (daily use, earwax, cleaning substances).
Approach
With our knowledge and experience with miro-tooling, 2K/overmolding, and in-mold electronics (IME), we created feasible product concepts and validated them through prototype tooling before they were implemented into production.
Result
